In the last two drawings I've used  a stick to draw with and am really enjoying the line it produces. Especially as it fades as the ink runs out and on the dampened paper where the lines spread.
I'm going to try and use this effect for shadows and lights.

I feel the portraits are getting somewhat same-y so I will be endeavouring to experiment more.
Not sure in what way that will be as yet.

No. 6 is something I've never tried before.
It was done by not looking at the paper or the mirror which is probably only achievable because of the amount of self-portraits already completed.

So, here we are in June although the weather doesn't seem to think so.
The first of the month drawing is quite different from all my earlier drawings and one I am going to explore further. A friend mentioned that it was if I'd drawn myself as I will be when older and I must agree.

Wow, May is over and the eighth month has begun. I still can't quite believe that this all started with the decision to do one month.I think i'm going to find it strange when the year is up.
